In the lovely restaurant at Agriturismo Il Podere in Petrignano di Assisi , customers can taste delicious typical Umbrian cuisine prepared by Elena with the products of our farm.
The dining room is located in a old place with original stone walls.
Customers can taste the typical dishes of our region: poor dishes, peasant cuisine, recipes and culinary traditions handed down from the past time .
Every day starters, soups or homemade pasta, second courses including grilled meats cooked at the moment. The menu is prepared daily according to the availability of products, mainly coming from our farm. For this we are grateful if, at the time of booking, customers will inform us about any allergies or special habits, especially if vegetarian.
We use seasonal ingredients, garden products, eggs and meats of our production, cold meats and cheeses. Is it possible to buy in the farm many of the products used for the preparation of our dishes
A buffet is prepared for breakfast with cakes, jam of our production, as well as hot and cold drinks.
During the summer we add a short menu list for lunch, refreshments and snacks also for visitors passing through; this is based on our farm products including specialties among the oldest of the Umbrian tradition: the torta al testo and ARVOLTOLO, well known to Perugia’s inhabitants and a pleasant surprise (we hope!) for tourists.
